Higher Legs
Because wooden platform beds don't have to accommodate a box spring, they usually have legs that are higher so the platform can come up to the appropriate level. Subsequently, it is easier to clean under and around the wood bed, as there is more room to place cleaning utensils like your vacuum or broom.
